About the Role

We’re seeking a 2nd Year+ Electrician ready to take the next step in their career. This role provides broad exposure to all areas of the trade—from conduit bending to control wiring—in job sites that range from rural farms to industrial facilities. As an integral part of our field crew, you’ll work under the guidance of Red Seal Journeypersons and contribute to the success of complex builds and service projects.

What You’ll Do

Electrical Installation & Service

• Assist with layout, wiring, equipment installation, and testing.
• Pull cable, terminate devices, and support rough-in and finishing tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Operate power tools and specialized test equipment safely and effectively.

Team & Trade Collaboration

• Work closely with journeypersons, project managers, and clients.
• Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and quality control processes.
• Support apprentices and students where appropriate.

Project Versatility

• Engage in new builds, tenant improvements, and service calls.
• Support work across agricultural shops, industrial sites, commercial units, and custom homes.

Qualifications

• Registered apprentice in Alberta or Saskatchewan (2nd to 4th year considered).
• Completion of, or enrollment in, technical training.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a variety of site conditions.
• CSA-approved boots and hand tools required.
